Deckyard - 0.1.5 Released
Deckyard 0.1.5 is now available for download
Changes
This release introduces a couple of new options and customisations:
- Per-key brightness control! You can now set how bright each individual key appears. This can be controlled via a variable, set brightness, or home assistant entity property
- A new 'press to repeat, press again to stop repeating' mode has been added
- By default, the 'hold to repeat' and 'press to repeat, press again to stop repeating' actions impose minimum repeat frequency for certain actions, such as HTTP requests, file/app open, home assistant, OBS, etc. This is a means of preventing you from accidentally crashing your computer if you happened to press the wrong key. This can be toggled off on a per-key basis.
Version 0.1.5 can be found via the website, accessible through the Deckyard project page.
Upcoming plans
The below are subject to change or cancellation, but represent features I hope to include:
- MacOS support. This was tested early on during development and worked well, but hasn't been tested since more recent additions were added. I don't expect any problems with it, but I won't release until I've actually got around to actually testing it.
